Our organisation meets every third week in each month on Thursdays at the Crown Hotel on Drummond road. These are open meetings for the public to attend, everyone is welcome to come along and have their say.
At some of our meetings we invite guest speakers from the NHS organisations to inform you all about any forthcoming changes being proposed, you can then raise any concerns you mave have.
Please note the next meeting of the Hospital Watch is on Thursday 15th Sept 2012 at 7-00pm.
We shall not hold a meeting during the Summer Holiday period.
there will be invited speakers at the this next meeting.
Since we raised over £42000 for a blood testing machine we have colleted donations from the public to further enhance the provision of equipment to provide 24hr Heart Monitor for which patients had to travel to Boston to be fitted. With a grateful thanks to you all we now can have these fitted at Skegness Hospital by our own trained Nurses. The first man to be fitted at Skegness was an 80yr old pensioner from Chapel-St -Leonards. some 3 weeks ago.
We now have enough donations to possibly purchase 2 more Machines
A further £3000+ has been made available to purchase a second 24hr Monitor Machine we are now awaiting delivery. Its very good news about the Blood testing Machine we bought for Skegness Hospital It is now in full use on our two wards, for example since the start of this New Year 47 of the Patients where saved from having to go to Boston Pilgrim Hospital. We are all over the moon about this.
Please keep your support going to improve things further. Thanks everyone.
